Application Process
Centralised DSA-Sec Application Process
Application for DSA-Sec can be submitted through the online DSA-Sec Portal. The application is free-of-charge and will be open from 7 May to 3 June 2024. For more details, please refer to the MOE website.
Accessing the DSA Portal
a) Applicants from MOE mainstream primary schools: Parent may log in directly to DSA-Sec Portal. Only one parent’s SingPass is required. Parents/ guardians who are unable to apply online can approach their child’s primary school for assistance.
b) Other applicants not studying in MOE mainstream primary schools: Applicants need to apply for a Registration Number (RGxxxxxxx) before they can apply through the DSA-Sec Portal. For more information, please visit the MOE website at: https://go.gov.sg/nmsdsa-sec-application
Choices
Students can indicate up to three choices (maximum of two choices for the same school under two different talent areas).
Information to provide
a) Valid email address and local mobile number.
b) Supporting documents (optional, for Art applicants only): applicants may submit a link to an online portfolio of their artworks in the non-school based awards/activities section. Applicants may create an online portfolio using platforms such as Google Drive/Docs/Slides.
No other supporting documents are required. Your child’s primary school information such as Primary 5 and 6 results, CCA and VIA involvement, school-based achievements and awards, and NAPFA results, will be automatically shared with the school. You do not need to submit this information.
The application period is from 7 May to 3 June 2024.
Interview & Aptitude Test / Audition
An appointment will be made for the applicant to come to the school for an interview and aptitude test or audition in July or August 2024.
Applicants are to bring along the actual or certified true copies of the supporting documents (including portfolio of artworks) to the interview.
Outcome
A letter or email notifying the outcome of the application will be sent to the applicant by Friday, 30 August 2024. The letter or email will indicate whether the applicant has been given a Confirmed Offer, put on the Waiting List or not accepted.
